In 1995 Sarah Kane's first full-length play ‘Blasted’ opened. It became the cause celebre of the theatrical year, making front-page headlines and outraging critics with its vivid depiction of the reality of war.
Nineteen;twentynine theatre company will be returned the production to the place of its original setting: The Queens Hotel, Leeds.
Each performance was unique as two casts alternate to grapple with Kane’s dystopian vision in a junior suite.
